Everything is Alive Art Book

This book of paintings by artist Jason Rosenberg was made as a creative response to Tetsuro’s Hoshii’s solo piano album Everything Is Alive.

What began as a request to make a single artwork for the album cover, became an intensely prolific series of over 600 watercolor paintings by Rosenberg,

reflective and representative of the improvisational nature of Hoshii’s album. Together they chose 50 of these paintings to include in this publication.

In a time when music is most often streamed online and therefore intangible, this book serves as a physical object to accompany Hoshii’s music,

something to hold and to gaze upon.
